Soms is het leuker, gezelliger of voordeliger om met een groep te reizen.  U hoeft niet te zoeken naar de golfbaan of uw hotel, en u komt mensen tegen die u anders wellicht niet tegen zou komen.

Onderstaande groepsreizen vertrekken op vaststaande data, maar net als bij onze Golf en maatwerk reizen geldt ook hier dat u deze reizen als individuele reis kunt boeken. Stuur ons een email, dan komen wij zo spoedig mogelijk bij u terug met een prijsopgaaf.

Day 1

On arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met by a Luxury Golf Coach Tours representative, given a Welcome Gift and assisted with your luggage. Follow the representative to the vehicle which will transfer you to the hotel situated 25 minutes from the airport. After checking into your hotel, we take you on a Cape Town City Orientation Tour:
Steeped in history and encompassing a great deal of cultural heritage, there is an awful lot to learn about the ‘Mother City’. Find your bearings around town with this introduction to our wonderful city. Sights include Signal Hill, Camps Bay and Clifton beaches, City Hall, Houses of Parliament, Company Gardens, Greenmarket Square, Bo-Kaap Malay Quarters and Museum.
Tonight we break the ice with a Welcome Dinner

Day 2

After an early breakfast, we make our way through to the Constantia Wine Valley where we enjoy our round of golf at the Steenberg Golf Club. This evening you will have time at leisure.

Day 3

After a breakfast we check out of our Hotel and make our way to the Winelands.
Whatever your tipple, you cannot help but enjoy this relaxing day journeying across majestic mountain passes and through the famous fertile valleys of the Cape Winelands. Absorb the fascinating history and indulge in the celebrated Cape wines. Sights include the historical towns of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl; a cellar tour and at least 2 or 3 wine-tasting; French Huguenot Monument; Cheetah viewing (optional) and the Afrikaans Language Monument.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, we make our way down to the DeZalze golf course. Tonight will be at leisure.

Day 5

We check out of our hotel after an early breakfast and make our way along the scenic N2 to our next destination.
Dinner tonight will be at leisure.

Day 6

After a relaxing breakfast make your way down to the Montagu Golf course.

Day 7

After a leisurely breakfast, we check out of our hotel and make our way through to Knysna. We play a round of golf on the Fancourt Outeniqua course before checking into our hotel and enjoy a cruise through the Knysna Heads. Dinner tonight will be at leisure.

Day 8

After breakfast make your way down to the Simola golf course for your well deserved game of golf. Dinner will be down in the Waterfront this evening.

Day 9

After an early breakfast, we check out of our hotel and make our way down to Pezula for a round of golf before traveling further along the N2 into the Eastern Cape and to St Francis. Upon arrival, we check into our hotel and freshen up before our Canal Cruise.

Overnight: Thatchwood Country Lodge, St. Francis Bay

Day 10

After a leisurely breakfast, we enjoy our round of golf on the St Francis Links. The afternoon will be at leisure. Followed by a dinner in St Francis Bay

Overnight: Thatchwood Country Lodge, St. Francis Bay

After breakfast we check out of the lodge and make our way back to Port Elizabeth. You will be transferred to Port Elizabeth Airport, in time for your connecting flight home

Day 1 - October 14, 2009

Arrive in Cape Town International Airport.  Upon arrival, your driver/guide for the next couple of days will be meeting you.  You will be transferred to your hotel, with the rest of the day at leisure.  Dinner own account.

Day 2 - October 15, 2009

First things first: Table Mountain is waiting!  The Cableway with its rotating floor takes you to the summit in under 10 minutes.  From here you will have spectacular views of the city, Lions Head, Robben Island, the Cape Peninsula and the Atlantic Ocean.  (Please note that the cableway ride is weather dependent and may have to be re-scheduled).  From here we will take you to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve to visit Cape Point, the most southwestern point of Africa.  After lunch (included) you will visit Boulder’s Beach: this once popular public beach is now home to a breeding colony of penguins.

Day 3 - October 16, 2009

After breakfast your tour will take you to Kirstenbosch Gardens, where you will have time to take a stroll at your own pace through Cape Town’s spectacular botanical gardens, which include a big section on the Fynbos floral kingdom (incl. the King Protea, South Africa’s national flower) and part of the original hedge as planted by the founder of Cape Town, Jan van Riebeeck.  From here we will visit Groot Constantia, one of the oldest wine farms and historical estates in the area for a cellar tour, wine tasting and lunch (included) overlooking the vineyards and False Bay.  The V&A Waterfront, the modern shopping and entertainment complex in the heart of Cape Town’s working harbour is where our last stop of the day will be.

Day 4 - October 17, 2009

The famous Robben Island, whose prison was once home to former South African president Nelson Mandela, is now a World Heritage Site and provides stunning views across the bay with Table Mountain as its backdrop.  A trip to the island is an unforgettable experience and offers a glimpse into the life and times of the apartheid era. 

Before we will indulge in more wine tasting in the northern wine region we will experience the unique and diverse Renosterveld and have lunch with postcard view of Table Mountain (included).

The farewell dinner will be a truly African experience in the bustling heart of Cape Town (included).

Day 5 - October 18, 2009

After early breakfast, depart to the airport for flight to Johannesburg.  In the afternoon visit the De Wildt Cheetah Project.  Transfer to your guesthouse for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 - October 19, 2009

Morning at leisure.  Depart mid-morning for the Lesedi Cultural Village to experience the many different cultures in South Africa.  Enjoy lunch at Lesedi.  Tour the Sterkfontein Caves at the Cradle of Humankind in the afternoon before returning to your guesthouse for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 - October 20, 2009

After early breakfast, depart for flight to Hoedspruit (not included). Transfer to a private game park.  Enjoy your first afternoon game drive.  Hopefully you will spot the Big 5: lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and the elephant. Dinner will be served around the fire in the traditional boma.

Day 8 - 10; October 21 - 23, 2009

For your days at the Kapama Private Game Reserve:

Two daily game drives are part of the fully inclusive tariff and your skilled ranger and tracker do their best to find the animals of Africa for you to admire.

Expect a wake up call at between 5am and 5.30am and gather for tea or coffee and rusks before heading out at first light. If you are lucky, the big cats will still be around after their night of hunting. This is Big 5 country (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo) all of which are possible to see during your stay in Kapama Private Game Reserve.

There are also many other species to be seen, large and small, as well as fascinating plants and colorful birds. Stop halfway through the morning game drive for hot drinks and rusks from the Landrover snack box and return at around 9am for breakfast. During the rest of the day, you are likely to see wildlife like nyala antelope and vervet monkeys around the lodges.

At about 3.30pm everybody convenes for high tea, before departing with the same ranger/tracker team for the day’s second African bush safari.

Enjoy a sundowner drink along the way (not included in the tariff), and get out of the vehicle to stretch your legs and watch the sun go down over the distant Drakensberg Mountains.

As darkness descends it’s time to return to the safety of the Landrover and let the tracker scan the landscape with a spotlight picking out the glinting eyes of nocturnal animals. Return to the lodge at around 7pm, where there is time to freshen up before dinner.

Day 11 - October 24, 2009

After a morning game drive and breakfast, transfer to Hoedspruit for your flight to Oliver Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg (not included).  Depart South Africa for your connecting flight or flight home.

- 2 nights accommodation in Cape Town including breakfast;

- 3 nights accommodation in Kapama Private Game Reserve, fully inclusive;
